I'm located inside The Hive Salon. It's a business that is attached to an apartment building. There is plenty of parking behind the building as well as on the side. You enter through the side door - you will see the sign that says, "The Hive."
what to wear
I love to have fun with video and photography! I am constantly taking pictures and sometimes videos for social media too (you can always opt out if you're uncomfortable)
I suggest (but don't require) wearing clothes you'd feel good being photographed in, preferably neutrals. You'll get a copy of the photos, too!
If you'd like to have fun with your makeup, feel free! But there's no pressure to look a certain way. Come as you are!
clean or dirty hair?
That's the question, right?! is dirty hair better for coloring, or should it be clean?
The answer is a most definite CLEAN. Today's colors work best on freshly washed hair (no more than 2 days since your last wash)
Color will adhere better and lift better without any oils, dirt and product buildup to break through first!
Cancellation & Rescheduling
In order to provide the best possible scheduling options to all guests, 24 hours advance notice is required should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Rescheduling or cancelling an appointment with less than 24 hour notice, or failing to arrive to a scheduled appointment, will result in a Cancellation Fee equal to approximately 50% of the service price.
Services for clients running late will be adapted to fit the remaining appointment time without adjustment to pricing. Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and Cancellation Fees will apply.
I strive to offer my guests the highest level of satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your cut & color, let me know within 7 days of your visit and I am happy to correct the issue at no additional charge.
